One Book One Lincoln Nomination Form

Thousands of people have participated in the One Book One Lincoln community reading program since it was established in 2002.

Selecting a great book for all of Lincoln to read is the first step in kicking off the annual process. You can help by nominating a title. All nominations will be assessed based on the availability of formats (print and digital) to ensure accessibility to users.

A committee of community readers will rely on these nominations to select the winning book for the next year!

Here’s what we’re looking for in a great book:

  • Of general interest to adults and young adults
  • Addresses universal themes of life
  • Sparks thoughtful discussion

Suggestions can also be e-mailed to LCL_OBOLNominations@lincoln.ne.gov. Online nominations can be submitted year-round!

To help us make this community reading program even better, please take a minute to answer the following questions.

Did you attend a discussion or one of the special programs for the most recent One Book selection?

Where did you get information about last year’s program? Check all that apply.

Titles only need to be nominated a single time to be considered by the selection committee. Multiple nominations for the same title do not carry additional weight in the evaluation process.

This form is provided for the convenience of Lincoln City Libraries customers. The information is sent via standard e-mail. Due to the nature of the Internet, Lincoln City Libraries is unable to guarantee the privacy of comments made via this form.
